Ruby on Rails Developer – Long term contract in Northern NJ
Project:
- Create complex software solutions you will be proud of
- Work with bright, analytical, and experienced programmers
- Code in a true XP Environment: TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, and
incredibly lightweight design - Use exciting, cutting edge Ruby tools like JRuby, Ruby Enterprise Edition, Phusion Passenger, Mongrel, Memcache, BackgrounDRb, Cucumber, Webrat, Rails, Shoulda, and more
- Constantly learn and implement the latest Agile practices, like Kanban and BDD
- Interact directly with clients to gather and analyze business requirements
- Experience all phases of software development from design to implementation
- Have a real voice in critical design decisions
Must Haves:
- Mid to high level ruby experience. Rail would be nice to have.
- C++
- Perl
- object oriented programming
- Strong knowledge of Agile
